Short vita
Julia Stranzl is a research associate at the Department of Public Relations Research at the University of Vienna and a member of the Corporate Communication Research Group (CCom). Since January 2021, she has been involved in the research project “Virtual Collaboration”, in which she is jointly responsible for the conception and empirical implementation of the project. In addition, Stranzl is currently examining the effects of internal crisis communication strategies on cognitive and affective employee reactions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Stranzl studied political science and media and communication studies at the Universities of Vienna and Zurich. Her dissertation focuses on the role of transparent corporate crisis communication in protecting employees and organizations from job disengagement, job frustration, and lack of acceptance of crisis-related measures.
